SDA, Serial Data Analysis

All of these programs and techniques for analysis of serial data were developed at Pelco while I was there or purched from outside vendors. The environment was:
  1. Windows XP
  2. Running DOS
  3. The DJGPP package gave a simi-Linux keyboard environment.
  4. Many of the custom routines were written in "flex" which generated a "c" program that was then compiled with Gnu C
  5. "Piping" of multiple small routines was from "batch" files running under "DOS". Sometimes the batch files had to be broken into several smaller file grouips due to liminations of the DOS interperter.
  6. All localy generated programs were stored in a "RCS" (Revison Control System) storage file.
  7. Documentation was usually done in LaTeX.
  8. I was layed off from Pelco in 2014 and have no complaints from that. Also I have had no technical contacts with Pelco since then. There are very good chances that many of the things that I have written about have been changed or are no longer close to being corredt. These problems are mine alone. "You get what you see here and nothing more".
  9. I still don't know how to spell.
